A Prayer

 This is a perfect example of why I love this author and series so much. Ingeborg is noticing her husband, who farms their enormous acerage in North Dakota, is slowing down a bit. She's discussing how she's not going to fear and this is the prayer she says. Look at the example it is for me in my attitude toward my husband. What an encouragement these words are to me. I'm reminded that I'm certainly not the expert on loving Ryan, nor do I always have his best interest in mind, even though I think I do. What a simple way to keep my priorities straight, my husband lifted in prayer and my fears in check.

 May I do a better job of lifting my husband in prayer, and may I be more thankful for God's provision in our marriage.
